1. Booking & Confirmation

All bookings are considered tentative until a retainer has been received and a confirmation has been sent by Kierah Darling. Submitting an inquiry form or receiving a quote does not guarantee availability or confirm your booking.

To secure your appointment or event date, the following must be completed:

• Completion of the KDarlingBeauty booking inquiry form
• Receipt of a booking confirmation from Kierah
• Payment of the required deposit within 24 hours of confirmation

KDarlingBeauty reserves the right to release any tentative date if a deposit is not received within 24 hours of the booking confirmation being issued.

2. Deposits & Payment

A non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total service cost is required to hold your booking date. This deposit is applied toward your total balance.

The remaining balance is due on or before the day of your appointment or event. For bridal bookings, full payment is required before services begin on the wedding day. KDarlingBeauty accepts payment via invoice, Venmo, or Paypal — your confirmation email will include payment details.

Failure to pay the remaining balance before or on the day of service may result in services being withheld until payment is received.

3. Cancellations & Rescheduling

KDarlingBeauty understands that circumstances can change. The following cancellation policy applies to all bookings:

• Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled appointment — deposit is forfeited but no additional fee is charged
• Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice — deposit is forfeited and a rebooking fee equal to 50% of the remaining balance may be charged
• No-shows without prior notice — full service amount may be charged
• Rescheduling requests made more than 48 hours in advance — accommodated where possible at no additional charge, subject to availability

All cancellation and rescheduling requests must be made directly to Kierah via email at kierah@kdarlingbeauty.com or by direct message on Instagram @kdarlingbeauty.

4. Bridal Services

Bridal bookings are subject to additional terms given the nature and scale of wedding day services.

• A bridal preview (trial) is included in all bridal packages and should be completed no earlier than 12 weeks before the wedding date
• The number of attendees confirmed at the time of booking is the minimum billable — additional attendees added after booking may incur a scheduling fee
• A personalised day-of timeline will be provided after booking — clients are responsible for ensuring all attendees adhere to this schedule
• Travel within 30 miles of zip code 48854 is included in all bridal packages — additional mileage is charged at $1.00 per mile
• For locations requiring more than 2 hours of travel, hotel accommodation may be required and is the responsibility of the client
• Any additional parking fees or tolls incurred during travel to your venue will be reimbursed by the client
• A venue switch fee of $250 applies if services begin in one location and must be moved and completed in another
• Holiday and holiday weekend bookings are subject to a fee of up to 2x the standard service rate

5. Self Love Sessions

Self Love Sessions are intimate, private beauty experiences subject to the following terms:

• Sessions are available by inquiry only and must be confirmed with a 20% deposit
• All sessions are held at the KDarlingBeauty studio in Morrice, Michigan unless otherwise agreed
• Founding rate pricing is available for a limited number of sessions — once founding spots are filled, sessions revert to standard pricing without notice
• Portrait images are delivered within 7-10 business days via a private online gallery
• The client retains personal use rights to their portrait images — commercial or resale use is not permitted without written permission from KDarlingBeauty
• KDarlingBeauty retains the right to use session images for portfolio, marketing and social media purposes unless the client opts out in writing at the time of booking

6. Photography & Image Usage

KDarlingBeauty may photograph completed hair and makeup work during or after services for use in the KDarlingBeauty portfolio, website, social media and marketing materials. By booking a service, you consent to this use unless you notify Kierah in writing before your appointment that you wish to opt out.

Opting out of photography will not affect the quality of your service in any way. Your comfort and privacy are always respected.

Any images shared by clients on social media that feature KDarlingBeauty's work are appreciated — please tag @kdarlingbeauty so Kierah can share and celebrate your look.

7. Health, Allergies & Skin Conditions

It is the client's responsibility to disclose any known skin conditions, allergies or sensitivities to makeup, hair products or tools before the service begins. KDarlingBeauty uses professional grade products and maintains a clean, sanitized kit at all times.

KDarlingBeauty cannot be held liable for any adverse reactions to products used during services where the client has not disclosed a known allergy or sensitivity in advance. If you have a known allergy, please contact Kierah before your appointment to discuss product alternatives.

8. Satisfaction & Service Adjustments

Client satisfaction is Kierah's highest priority. If at any point during your service you are unhappy with the direction of your look, please communicate this immediately so adjustments can be made. KDarlingBeauty cannot offer refunds for completed services where concerns were not raised during the appointment.

Kierah reserves the right to decline or discontinue any service if the working environment is deemed unsafe, disrespectful, or if the client's requests conflict with professional standards.

9. Late Arrivals

Please arrive on time for your scheduled appointment. A grace period of 10 minutes is extended where possible. Arrivals beyond 15 minutes late may result in a shortened service time or Re-schedule — the full appointment fee remains due regardless. For bridal bookings, late start times that impact the day-of timeline are the responsibility of the client.

10. Force Majeure

KDarlingBeauty cannot be held liable for the failure to perform services due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, illness, family emergency, or other unforeseen events. In such cases, Kierah will make every effort to reschedule at the earliest available date. If rescheduling is not possible, deposits may be applied toward a future booking at Kierah's discretion.

11. Changes to These Terms

KDarlingBeauty reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The most current version will always be available at kdarlingbeauty.com/terms-conditions. Continued use of KDarlingBeauty services following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
