• Booking inquiries — name, email address, phone number, wedding or event date, location and service preferences submitted through our inquiry forms
• Communications — messages, emails and direct messages sent to KDarlingBeauty through any channel
• Payments — payment information processed through third-party platforms (Venmo, Zelle, Cash App, Paypal or invoicing software) — KDarlingBeauty does not store your payment details directly
• Photography — images taken during or after services for portfolio and marketing purposes, subject to your consent
• Website usage — anonymous analytics data collected by Squarespace including page views, device type and general location — this data does not identify you personally

2. How We Use Your Information

The personal information you provide is used solely for the following purposes:

• To confirm, manage and fulfill your booked services
• To communicate with you about your appointment, timeline and preparation
• To send booking confirmations, invoices and prep guides
• To respond to your inquiries and questions
• To improve our services and client experience
• To share portfolio images on our website and social media where you have consented

3. Photography & Image Rights

KDarlingBeauty may photograph completed hair and makeup work during or after services. These images may be used for our portfolio, website, social media accounts and marketing materials.

By booking a service you consent to this use of images. If you prefer not to be photographed or do not wish your images to be shared publicly, please notify Kierah in writing before your appointment. Your request will be fully respected and will have no impact on the quality of your service.

Portrait images taken during Self Love Sessions are the personal property of the client for personal use. KDarlingBeauty retains the right to use these images for portfolio and marketing purposes unless the client opts out in writing.

4. Third-Party Services

KDarlingBeauty uses the following third-party platforms which may collect or process data independently:

• Squarespace — our website hosting platform collects anonymous analytics data. View Squarespace's privacy policy at squarespace.com/privacy
• Beauty Pro Funnels — our CRM and booking software used to manage inquiries and client communications
• Google — Google Meet is used for Self Love Session portrait reveals. No personal data is stored by KDarlingBeauty through this platform
• Pixieset or similar — used to deliver portrait galleries to clients. Gallery access is private and password protected
• Meta (Instagram & Facebook) — social media platforms through which we may communicate with clients. These platforms have their own privacy policies
• Payment platforms (Square,Venmo, Zelle, Cash App) — payment processing. KDarlingBeauty does not store financial information

KDarlingBeauty is not responsible for the privacy practices of these third-party platforms. We encourage you to review their individual privacy policies.

5. How We Store Your Information

Your personal information is stored securely within our booking and CRM systems. KDarlingBeauty takes reasonable precautions to protect your data from unauthorised access, disclosure or misuse.

Client records including booking history and contact information are retained for a period of up to 3 years after your last service to facilitate future bookings and maintain business records. After this period, records are securely deleted.

6. Cookies & Website Tracking

Our website is hosted on Squarespace which uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to provide website functionality and collect anonymous usage data. This data helps us understand how visitors use our site so we can improve the experience.

You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect the functionality of certain features on our website.

7. Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal information held by KDarlingBeauty:

• Access — you may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you

8. Children's Privacy

KDarlingBeauty services are intended for clients aged 13 and over. For clients under 18, a parent or guardian must provide consent for services and for any photography. Junior attendee services are available for clients aged 12 and under with full parental consent.

KDarlingBeauty may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The most current version will always be available at kdarlingbeauty.com/privacy-policy. The date at the top of this page reflects when the policy was last revised. Continued use of our services following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
