Meet your stylist

Hi, I’m Kierah!

The heart behind KDarlingBeauty,

Some people find their calling. Mine found me when I needed it most.

Growing up, I was in spaces where no one looked like me, where confidence did not come naturally, and where finding myself felt harder than it should have. Beauty became my outlet. The one place where I could pick up a brush and create something. Where I could transform not just a face but a feeling. Art has always done that for people and for me it happened to live in a makeup palette and a camera lens.

That feeling never left me.

I grew up surrounded by salon life. My mom and aunt were both cosmetologists, which definitely helped my interests in the field. I was watching YouTube makeup tutorials before school, practicing looks on anyone willing to sit still, and spending weekends soaking up everything I could about this industry that had quietly become my safe place. Eventually I made it official, enrolled in cosmetology school, and never looked back. I also went further and trained in barbering techniques because I wanted to be exceptional at what I do, not just good.

What started as a personal love story with beauty led me into the bridal world and the moment I stepped in I knew there is something sacred about being trusted with someone's most important day. About picking up a brush and helping her feel completely herself before she walks toward the rest of her life.

But my why goes even deeper than weddings.

Photography found me the same way makeup did. As another form of art. Another way to capture someone at their most real and say this moment matters, you matter. When I hold a camera I am not just taking a photo. I am preserving how someone felt in a single moment. Confident. Seen. Beautiful. And that is something that stays with you long after the day is over.
